First Snow of Autumn

A mix of rain and snow fell last night, and this is what we woke up to this morning.

It's going to take some mental adjustment to accept the passing of autumn this year.  The way I see it, there are actually almost a dozen seasons in your average calendar year, and this snow marks the start of
"late autumn - the first snows"

Get out the winter kit now, Mr. B...

Hey Dad - Here in NorCal we have three seasons. "Wet" starts in November and lasts through about April. "Hot", which runs from May through August. And finally, "not as hot", which runs from August through November.

12 seasons actually sounds nice!
